These cream jars cosmetic packaging use acrylic (PMMA) or PETG for the body. Acrylic is as clear as glass. PETG is more drop-resistant. The lid uses ABS or PP. The inner plug uses LDPE. We produce them on our 13 injection machines. The thread fit tolerance on the jar neck and lid is ±0.05 mm. The lid turns smoothly. Each batch goes through a torque test. Opening torque is between 1.0 and 1.5 N·m. We also do a sealing test. We fill the jar with water and turn it upside down for 48 hours. No leak is allowed.
You can choose acrylic for a glass-like look. Or choose PETG for more strength. You can also add an aluminum foil induction seal or a breakable outer lid for tamper-proof protection.
