These vented caps for bottles use an HDPE cap body. The PTFE membrane is waterproof and breathable. The pore size is 0.2 μm. We fix the membrane to the cap using ultrasonic welding. Each batch goes through an air flow rate test. It must be at least 10 ml/min/cm² at 1 kPa. We also do a water pressure resistance test (at least 20 kPa). Workers check 100% of the caps.
When pressure builds up inside the drum, the cap lets gas out. The drum will not bulge or explode. A hydrogen peroxide factory in Shandong had a problem. Hydrogen peroxide decomposes and releases oxygen. Regular caps caused drums to bulge. We gave them PTFE vented caps. They tested for three months. The drums did not deform. Their first order was 20,000 pieces. Now they reorder every quarter. MOQ is 10,000 pieces. Sample takes 7 to 10 days. If goods get damaged, we send new ones for free. Our after-sales team follows up.
