This leak-proof inner plug uses LDPE or TPE. We make it by injection molding. The plug has a taper that matches the bottle neck. The interference fit is between 0.2 and 0.5 mm. The LDPE material is soft. It adapts to small shape changes in the bottle neck. Each batch goes through a sealing test. We fill the bottle with water and turn it upside down for one hour. No leak is allowed. Workers check 100% of the plugs for appearance.
The plug fits tightly. Liquid does not leak out even when the bottle is on its side. A US cosmetic company needed a leak-proof inner plug for their lotion bottles. We gave them an LDPE plug.
